From First Quote to Won Customer, Without Losing the Deal

Your team can build quotations, negotiate and forecast while the prospect is still a lead. When the business is won, Create Customer turns that lead into a customer record and automatically carries the connected quotations and forecasts across. The commercial history stays intact, what you quoted, what you forecast and the context behind the deal, so your team can move straight from winning the business to delivering it.

The handover from prospect to customer, automated.

When it's time to book, Shipthis makes the next step clear, convert the lead to a customer and move the deal forward.

A lead can be quoted, negotiated and forecasted, but a shipment needs a customer record. Shipthis makes that distinction clear at the moment it matters. If a quotation is still tied to a lead, the booking action points your team to Create Customer right there, without hunting through the system or rebuilding the deal. Once converted, the quotation and its commercial context stay connected to the new customer, so operations can move straight from won business to booking.

Win the deal. Convert once. Keep everything connected.

Generate RFQ, Price It, Negotiate It, Forecast It, All Before the Lead Becomes a Customer

Keep the commercial conversation moving while the prospect is still a lead. Convert to a customer when the business is ready to move.

You don't need to create a customer record just to start doing business. Raise the quotation against the lead, negotiate the deal, and build your forecast while the opportunity is still taking shape. Shipthis only asks for the customer conversion when the deal is ready to become operational, when it's time to book the shipment, no premature customer records, no unnecessary cleanup, and no interruption to the sales process.

Forecast against a lead, not just a converted account.

See Every Lead's RFQ Move From Request to Response

Shipthis keeps the RFQ from leads visible through every stage, so your team always knows what's been requested, quoted, sent and decided.

Every RFQ raised for a lead has a clear lifecycle, Open, Published, Sent, Won, Lost or Expired, so your team can see which lead requests are still waiting for action, which have responses published, which are with the prospect, and which have already reached an outcome. When an RFQ has multiple quote responses, each response carries its own status, giving sales and pricing teams one continuous view from lead to RFQ to quote response to outcome, without relying on spreadsheets or separate follow-up lists.

Every lead's RFQ. Every response. One visible journey.

Search Your Own Rate Cards Instead of Pricing Every Quote From Scratch

Rate Search matches an RFQ's origin, destination, mode, and carrier against your configured tariff, and auto-populates charge line items with buy and sell prices already applied.

When an RFQ comes in, Shipthis searches your configured rate cards against the origin, destination, mode and carrier to find the rates that fit, with your configured charges and margin rules applied automatically, so the response comes back with the commercial numbers already worked out. Select the rate you want and Shipthis builds the quote response with the relevant charge lines already populated, so your team spends time choosing the right option and winning the business, not re-keying rates and calculating margins on every RFQ.

Margins calculated automatically from your own configured rules, not re-keyed per quote.

Create Booking Pre-Fills What Quoting Already Captured

Once a response is accepted and the party is a customer, Create Booking carries the load and transit details straight from the quote into the shipment.

When a customer accepts a response, the Quote Request moves to Won and Create Booking becomes available, provided the party is now a customer, not still a lead. Using Create Booking from the accepted quote pre-fills the shipment's load and transit details directly from what was captured during quoting, and for organisations using shipment charge lines, eligible charges from the accepted response are copied across to the shipment's Charges tab as well, so nobody on the operations side re-enters shipment details that sales already captured weeks earlier while pricing the deal.

Load, transit, and eligible charges carried over, nothing re-typed by operations.

Turn Won Quotes Into Customers Without Losing the Deal History

Quote, negotiate and forecast while a prospect is still a lead, then convert them to a customer when the business is ready without rebuilding quotations, forecasts or shipment details.

The Handover From Lead to Customer Is a Feature, Not a Manual Step

Quotation repointing, forecast repointing, and the booking block are all structural, not a checklist item that depends on someone remembering to do it.

Shipthis makes conversion from won quote to customer part of the workflow. When a lead becomes a customer, quotations and forecasts move with it automatically, while booking stays controlled until the conversion is complete. If conversion is still needed, the action is surfaced right where your team is working.

One conversion. Everything connected. Nothing left behind.

Your Charge Templates and Margin Rules, Configured Before Your First Quote

Implementation sets up Charge Master codes, Charge Configuration margin rules, and your initial rate cards so Rate Search returns usable results from day one, not an empty result set. Quotation workflow states and approval routing are configured to match your actual sales process, and margin rules and controls are set according to your pricing policy. Most customers are fully operational within 9 weeks, with a named implementation specialist rather than a generic support queue.

Margin rules set to your actual pricing policy.

Quote-to-Customer Conversion Questions, Answered

Can we quote a lead before it's converted to a customer?

Yes. Quotations can be raised and negotiated against a lead directly, and customer forecast records continue to build while the account is still a prospect. Only booking requires conversion.

What happens to our quotations when a lead converts to a customer?

They repoint automatically to the new customer account, along with any customer forecast records tied to that lead, processed in batches, so it can take a moment to fully appear on accounts with many quotations.

Is converting a lead reversible?

Converting is confirmed with an explicit warning that it's irreversible. Unlinking afterward is a partial rollback, the lead becomes independent again and forecast links clear, but quotations already repointed to the customer stay with the customer.

Why is Create Booking greyed out on some quotations?

The quotation's party is still a lead. Convert the lead to a customer, the same Create Customer button is available directly from the quotation, and booking becomes available.

Does Rate Search require us to manually build every quote?

No. Rate Search matches an RFQ's lane, mode, and carrier against your configured rate cards and applies your margin rules automatically, pre-filling the quote response's charge line items.

Does the shipment need shipment details re-entered after a quote is won?

No. Create Booking from an accepted quote pre-fills load and transit details from the quote, and copies eligible charges across for organisations using shipment charge lines.
