Air Freight Management Software Built Around How Forwarders Actually Move Cargo

Every air shipment, export, import, direct or consol, runs through one system from quotation to invoice, without re-keying the same shipment into five different tools. House and Master AWB handling, consolidation, airline bookings, eAWB Submissions, milestone tracking, customs handoff and billing are all connected to the same record.

Visibility Shouldn't Start at the Booking. It Should Start at the Purchase Order.

Most customer portals show a shipment once it exists. Shipthis shows what's coming before that, from the purchase order your customer placed with their own supplier.

A typical customer portal starts adding value once a shipment is booked, tracking, documents, and status from that point forward. But by the time a booking request arrives, the forwarder has already missed the chance to plan ahead: how much cargo is coming, from which supplier, and roughly when it'll be ready. Shipthis closes that gap by letting customers submit the purchase orders they've placed with their own suppliers directly into the portal, so your team gets visibility upstream, before the cargo is ready, not just after it's booked.

Visibility from the purchase order, not just from the booking.

What Changes When Freight Forwarding Runs on One System

Submit Every eAWB, Master and House, From One Place

FWB for Master and FZB for House Waybill Data, submitted directly to airlines without a separate portal.

Airlines expect eAWB data in specific formats, FWB for the Master and FZB for the House, and getting that wrong means rejected messages and delayed cargo. Shipthis generates and submits both directly from the shipment record, so Master and House data stay consistent with each other and with what's actually booked. No logging into separate airline portals, no re-entering the same shipment twice to file two messages.

IATA-compliant, submitted directly to the airline, no manual filing.

Quote, Book and Confirm Airline Space, Without Leaving the Shipment, on One Screen

Rate management, routing and airline booking connected directly to the quotation your customer already approved.

Rates change by lane, carrier, season and volume, and pricing shouldn't mean pulling up three tabs and an emailed rate card. Shipthis keeps airline rates, surcharges and validity periods in one place, so your quotation reflects what you can actually book. Once approved, that quotation becomes the booking, with no gap between what was quoted and what shows up on the AWB.

Rate history and audit trail included on every quotation.

House and Master AWBs, Consolidations, and the Documents That Follow, All on One Source of Truth

Build a consol, allocate House shipments, and generate AWBs and supporting documents without manual cross-checking.

Consolidation is where small errors become expensive ones. Shipthis manages House and Master AWBs as linked records, so weight, chargeable volume and cost allocation update automatically as shipments change. Documents generate directly from that data, not a manually re-typed version of it. Direct shipments follow the same logic, with less complexity.

Built by a team that has run consol operations, not just built software for them.

Build the Workflow Your Operation Actually Runs On

Customizable, no-code workflows that automate tasks, assign work, and connect every step from shipment creation to delivery.

No two operations run the same way, so Shipthis lets you build workflows around how your team actually works, by mode, shipment type, or Incoterm, without writing a line of code. Tasks get assigned automatically, documents and notifications trigger on the milestones you define, and every step stays connected instead of living in separate to-do lists and email threads. As your process changes, the workflow changes with it.

No-code setup, built to match how your team already operates.

Give Customers the Answer Before They Ask the Question

Automated milestones and a live customer portal replace the status-update emails your team writes every day.

Every "where is my shipment" email is time your team spends looking backward instead of moving cargo forward. Shipthis updates shipment milestones automatically as a shipment progresses, and makes that status available to your customer directly through a portal, not through a person. Notifications go out only on the milestones that matter.

Branded customer portal, your logo, your domain, your shipment data.

Know the Margin on a Shipment Before the Invoice Goes Out

Cost allocation, billing and AI-assisted document handling connected to the same shipment record, so profitability isn't a month-end surprise.

Profitability on an air shipment depends on allocating cost and revenue correctly, especially across a consol. Shipthis tracks cost and revenue at the shipment level as it progresses, so your team sees margin in real time. Billing pulls directly from that data. Smart Book and Email Bridge read requests and emails, updating the shipment automatically.

Every AI action is visible and reviewable, nothing updates a shipment without an audit trail.

Explore More Air Freight Capabilities

Beyond core freight modes, Shipthis offers additional capabilities that enhance control, compliance, and intelligence across freight operations.

Digital Warehouse Receipts

The moment cargo arrives at a warehouse, customers get an itemized digital receipt automatically, no waiting on a call or email to confirm goods landed.

Pay Invoices Directly in the Portal

Still flagging this one, not confirmed as an actual online payment gateway versus just viewing accepted payment methods. Needs your call before I write it as real.

Statement of Account, Real-Time

Live balance, invoices, and payment history, viewable or downloadable directly.

Multi-Branch Access

Customers with multiple physical branches or departments managed under one unified customer ID, each branch with its own visibility into shipments and billing.

Shipthis is designed for growing forwarders, 50 to 500 employees, running air, ocean and multimodal operations, who need one platform that grows with the business.

Growth in freight forwarding usually means more shipments and more people just to keep up. Shipthis is built so growth doesn't require a proportional headcount increase, automation and a connected shipment record let your team handle more volume. Pricing scales with your business, and implementation runs in 9 weeks with a dedicated specialist.

Migration and onboarding support included, not sold separately.

Go Live Without Pausing Your Operations

A dedicated implementation team, phased rollout, and full data migration mean your air freight team keeps shipping while the system comes online.

Freight forwarding doesn't stop for a software rollout, so Shipthis onboarding is built around that reality. Existing shipment, customer and rate data is migrated for you, and your team is trained on the workflows they'll actually use, air export, air import, consolidation, billing, not a generic product tour. Most customers are fully operational within 9 weeks, with support continuing well past go-live.

Air Freight Software Questions, Answered

What is eAWB?

eAWB, or electronic Air Waybill, is the digital version of the air waybill, the contract of carriage and shipment record between a shipper or forwarder and an airline. Instead of a printed document that has to physically accompany or precede the cargo, an eAWB is transmitted electronically between the forwarder and the airline in a standardized IATA message format, removing the paper original from the process entirely.

What is e-Freight, and how does it relate to eAWB?

e-Freight is the broader industry initiative to remove paper from air cargo entirely, covering customs documents, transport documents, and commercial or special cargo documents alongside the AWB itself. eAWB is the specific, most widely adopted piece of that initiative, digitizing the air waybill first, since it's the core document nearly every air shipment requires.

What are the different types of eAWBs?

The two main types are the Master eAWB, covering the overall shipment between the forwarder and the airline, and the House eAWB, covering each individual shipper's cargo within a consolidated Master shipment. Airlines expect each in its own message format, FWB for the Master, FZB for the House, which is why software that only handles one correctly creates problems for forwarders running consolidations.

Does eAWB submission require a separate airline login for each carrier?

Not with Shipthis. eAWB submission is connected to a network of 194 airlines directly from the shipment record, so your team isn't logging into a different portal for every carrier you work with.

Is eAWB submission actually IATA-compliant?

No. Implementation is built to carry over your existing airline relationships and any AWBs already in progress, so switching to electronic submission doesn't require renegotiating carrier relationships.
