Carrier

A Carrier is a person or a company with legal rights to transport goods from one place to another by land, water and air. Usually, the carrier and shippers work together to ship goods. Carriers can be of two types: Common ad Contract carriers. Common carriers offer their services to any person or company as the license provided by a regulatory body entitles them to do so. On the other hand, Contract carriers provide services for a specified shipper on a long-term basis.
